Loop Hero - PC Game Review

Loop Hero is an interesting card-based strategy (? not sure what the right category would be) game.

It uses really lo-fi pixel art (I'd say it'd PC XT, maybe 286 era?), but is still quite adequate. Your character (you start with warrior, but can unlock others) goes around a loop, and when it kills enemies (automatically - you can't interfere at all, except changing equipment), you get cards or equipment.

Equipment is what you'd expect - new weapons, armor, rings, etc, which give you certain stats, such as attack, defense, vampirism, etc.

Cards can be a whole lot of things, which have good effects (giving resources when placed, when you pass them, or each day) or spawn enemies (and then still have good side effects, as giving you resources - otherwise, why would you place them).

There is also a build phase, where you can place different buildings that unlocks cards, character types, weapons, etc.

Overall, interesting. I do wish building didn't take so much time, though.
