The Haunting of Hill House - Book Review

The Haunting of Hill House, by Shirley Jackson, is a gothic horror novel written long ago - 1959 - and adapted on movies and TV several times.

It feels pretty generic right now, of course, after decades of similar novels. I really liked the beginning, and the overall haunting part is ok, if a little underwhelming. By the end it was just ok for me.
